Orbspace is an Austria research start-up company in the field of aeronautic and space transportation. It was founded in 2006 by Aron Lentsch with the help of seven aerospace engineers and experts from various European origins. The company's main competences are in aerospace engineering such as launch vehicle system design, rocket propulsion, numerical fluid mechanics and multidisciplinary design optimization. Other competences include space law, aerospace medicine and project management. Orbspace offers these services as consulting and as partner in research projects. Our current research efforts are focused on three projects: - Cost efficient ceramic combustion chambers
- Laser ignition for rocket engines
- The small rocket vehicle Infinity.
Infinity is a reusable rocket vehicle designed to serve in two configurations, as a launch vehicle for orbital nano-payloads as well as for personal suborbital space flights. Orbspace is participating with Infinity in the multinational Aldebaran study. The mission of Orbspace is to provide professional, fast and highly efficient aerospace research and development services as well as to conduct our own development projects for the commercial space transportation market. |
